Chaney is found shot to death in his office, Kuzak is robbed by a client, and the firm hires attorney Victor Sifuentes as their new associate.
THOSE LIPS, THAT EYE - TA4L03 - 1987 - After a victims father attempts to shoot a defendant in court, Sifuentes takes on the father's defense. Markowitz and Kelsey begin to date, while Kuzak wins the attention of the beautiful and much sought-after Deputy D.A.. Taylor quits the firm and Abby is promoted to Associate.
THE HOUSE OF THE RISING FLAN - TA4L04 - 1987 - Brackman asks Sifuentes to marry his maid; Markowitz faces a question of ethics in dealing with a millionaire's tax fraud case. Kuzak tries a case against an amusement park where an accident allegedly crippled a young boy. Abby panics when her abusive husband violates his restraining order by picking her son up from nursery school.
SIMIAN CHANTED EVENING - TA4L06 - 1987 - Kuzak defends a client with a strange post-mortem request; Brackman is forced to take on his former maid's immigration case when Sifuentes discovers that Brackman made a pass at her. While defending a toy company, Cavelli is assaulted and suffers a mild heart attack. Becker engages in an affair with a client, Kelsey and Markowitz are made Partners in the firm, and Kuzak crashes the wedding of his Deputy D.A. love interest.
RAIDERS OF THE LOST BANKU - TA4L08 - 1987 - Kuzak defends a newscaster who was fired after returning from her cancer treatment. McKenzie convinces Brackman not to resign, after which Brackman astounds all with his sudden change in attitude. Sifuentes takes a hopeless dog-bite case and engages in a bet with Kuzak for Kuzak's favorite office chair.
GIBBON TAKE - TA4L09 - 1987 - Kuzak and Deputy D.A. Grace Van Owen struggle with the idea of their relationship being public; Kelsey sets out to prove that poverty exists in Beverly Hills in order to maintain the integrity of a trust. Sifuentes defends a Pre-Law cocaine addict, while Abby defends a lesbian mother in a custody battle.
THE VENUS BUTTERFLY - TA4L10 - 1987 - While Becker works on a polygamy case against a man with eleven wives, Markowitz uses the polygamist's dating advice to score with Kelsey. With mixed emotions, Grace prosecutes a man for the mercy killing of his AIDS-afflicted lover. A child matching the description of Abby's missing toddler is brought into the morgue, but accidentally cremated before Abby can identify the body.
FRY ME TO THE MOON - TA4L11 - 1987 - Kuzak defends a rapist and murder against the death penalty. When the accused, released on bail, is shot during a robbery, Kuzak accuses the prosecution of having the man followed and killed. Grace gives new evidence to a convicted murder in an AIDS mercy-killing trial that she prosecuted; Becker's parents each ask him to represent them in their divorce hearings. Sifuentes gets upset with McKenzie over what he feels are unethical business practices and quits the firm.
EL SID - TA4L12 - 1987 - Kuzak defends a woman whose baby was killed in the crossfire between her and several police officers, posting his own money as her bail. Abby drops kidnapping charges against her soon-to-be ex-husband in exchange for the safe return of her missing child. The firm attempts to fill Sifuentes vacancy, but eventually convinces him to return to the firm. Grace is reprimanded for assisting the convicted in reopening the AIDS mercy-killing trial.
PRINCE KUZAK IN A CAN - TA4L14 - 1987 - Kuzak takes over his deceased friend's cases, defending a drunk driver who admittedly uses a false alibi, after which Kuzak removes himself from the case and is held in contempt. Kelsey wins over the business and unsolicited affection of a new client for the firm; Sifuentes convinces Brackman to hire his telephone-hacker defendant to fix the firm's phone systems.
THE DOUGLAS FUR BALL - TA4L15 - 1987 - Brackman's wife discovers his affair and sues him for divorce; Sifuentes defends an alleged armed robber and confronts a prejudiced judge. Heidegger is forced to resign, Judge Hood seeks employment at the firm, and Roxanne dates a significantly younger client.
BEEF JERKY - TA4L17 - 1987 - Grace handles a strange theft case involving the stolen semen of a prize-winning bull; Sifuentes and Abby prosecute a truck driver for a car accident resulting in the death of a child. Becker hires a private investigator to prove that a client's husband is cheating on her, only to discover that the other woman is actually the client's sister.
BECKER ON THE BOX - TA4L18 - 1987 - Kuzak defends a pharmaceutical company who's drugs impaired users, and undergoes a makeover in the process. Demanding a raise, Roxanne threatens to quit. Kelsey asks Markowitz to help her with her taxes, after which they decide to move in together.
50 WAYS TO FLOSS YOUR LOVER - TA4L19 - 1987 - After a convicted rapist and murderer threatens Grace's life, she considers purchasing a gun for protection. While holding out for a raise, Roxanne serves on Jury Duty and is temporarily replaced by a beautiful but unskilled temp secretary. Sifuentes defends a gorgeous dentist who is accused of planting a radio receiver in a patient's bridge work.
THE GRACE OF WRATH - TA4L20 - 1987 - After being shot at, Grace gets into trouble for making fear-based deals with a Public Defender; Kelsey defends a plastic surgeon accused of negligence in treatment. Roxanne dates one of Becker's divorce clients; Brackman tries out wearing a toupee. Sifuentes defends a marijuana farmer, and attracts the unsolicited affections of a juror.
SPARKY BRACKMAN R.I.P. - TA4L21 - 1987 - Kuzak prosecutes a superstar basketball player for the date rape of a young woman; Brackman wages a personal war against a neighbor who hates Brackman's dog.

Kelsey defends a doctor who neglected to tell the police about the homicidal threats of one of his patients, but is plagued by guilt when the doctor confidentially confesses to the crime.
CANNON OF ETHICS - TA5K02 - 1988 - Becker believes he has fallen in love with the beautiful Nina until she mentions marriage; Abby convinces the firm to hire the retarded son of one of her clients. Gleason advises Kelsey on how to expose the guilty doctor and free the innocent man she helped convict, while Sifuentes continues his trial in defense of the supposedly faulty pajama manufacturer.
BRACKMAN VOSEKTIMIZED - TA5K03 - 1988 - Kleinberg resigns after winning a case for an undeserving client; there is an uprising among the associates when they discover Rollins' inflated salary. Kelsey threatens to expose a client guilty of polluting the water supply, and then tries to resign to protect the firm. Brackman begins a relationship with his Small Claims Court bailiff; Kuzak reconnects with his ex-wife.
LUNG GOODBYE - TA5K05 - 1988 - Kuzak takes on a tobacco company for a client with emphysema; Sifuentes's brand new car is a robbery target. Becker works a divorce case against a prenuptial agreement; Markowitz and Kelsey seek help for their communication issues.
AULD L'ANXIETY - TA5K06 - 1988 - Grace's witness in a gang-related murder trial is killed, and retaliation ensues. McKenzie prosecutes an age discrimination case; Errol catches Brackman and his bailiff fooling around.
ROHNER vs. GRODINGER - TA5K07 - 1988 - Kuzak defends a client on possession and assault charges; Abby tries to negotiate peace between feuding friends over an allegedly stolen muffin recipe. After ending his affair, Brackman's indiscretion is exposed to the others in the firm. McKenzie deals with Kelsey's anti-Semitic mother; Rollins wins back a lost client, but is reprimanded for defying McKenzie's orders to leave the case alone.
FULL MARITAL JACKET - TA5K10 - 1988 - Kelsey and Markowitz get married. Kuzak and Becker defend the firm's mentally retarded office worker in a rape case. In defense of a circus' Human Cannonball, Rollins tricks a dishonest victim into proving himself a liar.
GORILLA MY DREAMS - TA5K11 - 1988 - Becker represents a father accused of molestation in a custody case; Kelsey profits from Roxanne's boyfriend's insider trading tips. Sifuentes and Benny, the mentally retarded firm employee accused rape, get to know one another at the zoo; Brackman continues to deal with his divorce settlement.
HAND ROLL EXPRESS -TA5K12 - 1988 - After flirting with a cop disguised as a waitress, Brackman is arrested for soliciting prostitution. Grace considers a position at a friend's law firm; Roxanne is held in contempt for refusing to testify against her boyfriend. Sifuentes case on freedom of speech turns out to be a simple case of jilted love.
BEAUTY AND OBESE - TA5K13 - 1988 - Kuzak handles a weight-discrimination case; Markowitz faces a predicament when, after convincing a woman not to leave all her money to a televangelist, she leaves it all to Markowitz instead. Grace refuses to handle an organized crime murder case and then witnesses a second murder.
PETTYCOAT JUNCTION - TA5K14 - 1988 - Becker knowingly participates in a trial designed simply to generate publicity, and is then forced to reconsider his ethics; Markowitz and Kelsey take the stand against the man who robbed them.

ROMANCING THE DRONE - TA7A03 - 1989 - Kuzak tries a pro bono case in defense of a rapist; Becker works on a sexually exploited woman's divorce case. Markowitz struggles with his own infertility; Abby says goodbye to the firm and opens up her own practice.

TO LIVE AND DIET IN L.A. - TA7A07 - 1989 - Van Owen struggles to set things right after realizing the that cop killer case compromised her legal ethics; Kelsey and Markowitz struggle with the emotional rollercoaster of the adoption process. With Meyer's help, Becker makes a do-it-yourself divorce video; Abby and Ringstrom try to resist their mutual attraction.
I'M IN THE NUDE FOR LOVE - TA7A08 - 1989 - Kuzak defends a nudist colony against it's complaining neighbors; Sifuentes defends a hospital against two parents' suit to have their comatose daughter removed form life support. Benny develops a crush on Allison; Abby hires Markowitz to sort through a client's tax statements.
VICTOR VICTORIUS - TA7A09 - 1989 - Van Owen deals with a notoriously sneaky and unethical opposing council on a murder case. In financial trouble, Abby makes a recommendation for a client that serves only her own needs. Sifuentes and Allison begin to date; Markowitz and Kelsey finally adopt a baby.
THE PLANE MUTINY - TA7A10 - 1989 - Sifuentes goes head to head with Van Owen in a murder case against a man accused of hiring a hit man to kill his wife. Becker's do-it-yourself divorce video royalties begin to roll in, but he is dismayed to discover that the firm technically has claim to them. Brackman causes a scene on a delayed airplane, resulting in his arrest.
IZZY ACKERMAN OR IS HE NOT - TA7A11 - 1989 - Kuzak represents a man suing a hospital for allowing his wife to die because they had no insurance. McKenzie works on having the parts of dismembered corpse returned to the deceased's family after a mix-up. Roxanne, struggling with her weight and her marriage, is arrested for battery after hitting a woman at her weight-loss center; Grace and Kuzak discover that Lt. Ringstrom is married.
THE ACCIDENTAL JURIST - TA7A12 - 1989 - Kuzak represents an Olympic champion whose endorsement deal was terminated after his homosexuality came into the public eye. Kelsey and Markowitz struggle to balance their baby and their jobs. Abby must decide whether to end her affair with Ringstrom; Roxanne and Meyer see a marriage therapist.
BARSTOW BOUND - TA7A13 - 1989 - Becker is accosted by a crazed do-it-yourself divorce video client. Sifuentes works a wrongful death case against a construction company, and when it comes out that a powerful Congressman may have been involved, Leland is conveniently nominated for a Federal Judgeship by none other than the Congressman's close friend.
LEAVE IT TO GEEZER - TA7A14 - 1989 - Van Owen prosecutes a rag-tag team of senior citizen bank robbers; Rollins tries his first murder case. When Van Owen is too busy for Kuzak, things begin to heat up between Kuzak and a client, Melanie Hayes. Leland decides to stop seeing younger women.

CAPTAIN HURT -TA7D02 - 1990 - Becker upsets a client when he takes a divorce settlement too far; Kuzak defends a college professor accused of killing his research assistant. Van Owen prosecutes a strangely masochistic man for insurance fraud; Sifuentes teaches Benny about the use of condoms.
WHEN IRISH EYES ARE SMILING - TA7D03 - 1990 - Kuzak continues his defense of the professor; Rollins and Brackman help out a woman whose case they cannot afford to take. Becker becomes romantically involved with the client whose divorce settlement he botched; Diana becomes concerned that McKenzie wants her to leave the firm.
THE MOUSE THAT SOARED - TA7D04 - 1990 - Sifuentes takes a case against a bar that hosts "Dwarf Tossing Night." Kuzak gets emotional after presenting new evidence that may prove his convicted client innocent; Roxanne aides Markowitz with trial preparation. ONE RAT - ONE RANGER - TA7D05 - 1990 -Van Owen prosecutes a father accused of sexually molesting his daughter; Markowitz tries his first litigation case in defense of a dating service. Realizing they are in financial trouble, the firm looks to bring in a new partner, and with three votes against two, they offer the position to Rosalind Shays
LIE DOWN AND DELIVER - TA7D06 - 1990 - Brackman files a class action law suit when he wins a cereal box contest and does not receive his full winnings; Becker and Meyer faces charges filed against them from a dissatisfied do-it-yourself-divorce video customer. Kelsey and Abby defend a doctor from malpractice charges after he delivers a stillborn baby.
NOAH'S BARK - TA7D09 - 1990 - The firm discovers that Becker has left McKenzie Brackman and solicited some of their clients, so they slap a restraining order on him. After an emotionally wrenching preliminary trial, Van Owen wins a rape trial for Allison, but reveals that a plea bargain for a lesser crime - aggravated assault - would be more effective in putting the defendant away; Allison reluctantly aggress… almost. Rollins represents a man who was fired from his job because of a neurological disorder that causes him to make disruptive sounds and gestures.
THE PAY'S LOUSY BUT THE TIPS ARE GREAT - TA7D10 - 1990 - The after-effects of the rape take their toll on Allison and Sifuentes; meanwhile he represents a pretty young woman in a sex discrimination suit. Markowitz handles a malpractice suit involving an elderly rabbi and a less-than-precise circumcision. Rosalind manipulates McKenzie and Brackman to gain clients, while Becker returns to the firm, only to be given the cold shoulder from all.
TRUE BRIT - TA7D11 - 1990 - Kuzak faces off against a British barrister in a case, while Becker complains that no one cares about him at the office anymore. Moses confides to Rollins that a friend of hers was involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident which he does not want to report. Kelsey enjoys motherhood, but feels left out at the firm.
ON YOUR HONOR - TA7D12 - 1990 - Van Owen takes a job as a Superior Court judge, and must decide whether to sentence a sixteen-year-old boy convicted on two counts of first-degree murder to life in prison. Sifuentes represents a woman who is suing the U.S. Navy for shooting down a commercial airplane on which her husband was a passenger. Brackman's new staggered lunch plan causes unrest among the secretaries; Van Owen and Kuzak begin to feel the spark between them rekindled.
EX-WIVES AND VIDEO TAPE - TA7D14 - 1990 - Kuzak appeals the death penalty conviction for Earl Williams to the Supreme Court and wins another trial. Rollins threatens to leave the firm if it takes on Anderson Industries - which has ties to South Africa - as a client. Becker represents Al Vogel, who wants to distribute a videotape of he and his then-wife having sex to embarrass her, as she is now single and a noted newscaster.
BLOOD, SWEAT AND FEARS - TA7D15 - 1990 - McKenzie announces that he is resigning as senior partner. Sifuentes represents a doctor charged in a wrongful death suit for refusing to operate on an AIDS patient. Kuzak's hard-fought retrial for Earl Willians comes to fruition as the complaint is dismissed. At a meeting to vote for the new senior partner, Rosalind is elected!
BOUNDS FOR GLORY - TA7D16 - 1990 - Rollins is involved in a case about a giant African frog, whose owner is suing because the amphibian was ruled ineligible in a frog jumping contest. Kelsey attempts to prove parental liability in a hate-crime murder. Abby is caught in the unenviable situation of getting her client off with probation on a drug possession charge and cow-towing to the defendants father - a major client at the firm - who wants to boy to serve some jail time.
JUSTICE SWERVED - TA7D17 - 1990 - Sifuentes represents a woman who, along with her husband, has been accused of killing their newborn child. Markowitz gets arrested for driving under the influence; Brackman decides to seek professional help for his sexual problem.
WATTS A MATTER - TA7D18 - 1990 - Brackman, cured of his sexual problem, falls in love with his therapist. Sifuentes joins an old attorney buddy in representing a widow who is suing a liquor company because her husband died of cirrhosis of the liver. Rollins represents members of a black family who were beaten and had their home destroyed by the LAPD on a drug raid at the wrong address.
BANG… ZOOM… ZAP… - TA7D19 - 1990 - Markowitz represents a man who was arrested and tortured in Argentina and is suing the former soldier who administered the torture. Van Owen's hardline stance in sentencing criminals gets her a talking-to by one of the presiding judges. McKenzie stands up to Rosalind and considers pushing her out as senior partner. Kuzak gets a job offer, and Roxanne's father thinks he's Ralph Kramden.
FORGIVE ME FATHER FOR I HAVE SUED - TA7D20 - 1990 - McKenzie announces that he wants to be reinstated as senior partner. Roxanne goes to court to gain conservatorship of her father. Sifuentes represents a priest who is being sued by a man whose wife had a nervous breakdown when the priest did not absolve her of her sins.
OUTWARD BOUND - TA7D21 - 1990 - Kuzak represents a police officer who was forced to resign when his homosexuality was publicized. Kuzak also announces that he's leaving the firm for a job in New York to be closer to his dying father. Van Owen agrees to join the firm as his replacement. Corrine asks Becker to marry her, and he's so scared, he has sex with someone else. Meanwhile, Benny is upset when he finds Alice kissing another man.
THE LAST GASP - TA7D22 - 1990 - Kelsey represents the Chicago Bears, who are being sued by a disgruntled fan who didn't like the team's performance last season. Van Owen defends Henry Sutter, accused of euthanasia in killing his Alzheimer's disease-suffering wife. Sifuentes attempts to save an old childhood friend from the gas chamber, while Becker announces that he is marrying Corrinne.

Kuzak is repeatedly unsuccessful at having the Chisolm case declared a mistrial, and Rollins is uncomfortable being second chair on the racially-charged case.
LIE HARDER - TA7L03 - 1991 - Abby represents a family who wants to return their adopted child who is emotionally disturbed to the adoption agency. Roxanne finally tells Corrine to stop giving her personal work to do. The Chisolm trial is on again, this time with a new judge and Rollins as the primary attorney.
