SERIES DESCRIPTION:

An action-adventure drama based on the Israeli Keshet format Prisoners of War. In this iteration, an American soldier who was presumed killed in Iraq returns 10 years after he went missing. But after the joy of his homecoming dies down, suspicions arise as to whether he was really an American hero or if he was part of a sleeper cell planning a terrorist attack.

SEASON 1 (INTERNATIONAL ONLY)

PILOT - 1WAH79 - 2011 - Carrie Mathison (a CIA Agent battling her own demons) becomes convinced that the intelligence that led to the rescue of Sgt. Nicholas Brody (a US soldier who had been missing and presumed dead for eight years) was a set-up, and may be connected to an al-Qaeda plot to be carried out on American soil. Already on thin ice with the CIA, and now assigned to a desk job after an incident in Iraq, Carrie is forced to break protocol in order to prove her theory that Brody was “turned” during his many years in captivity (and is now working for al-Qaeda). Meanwhile, Brody receives a hero’s welcome at home, and attempts to reconnect with his family whom he hasn’t seen in eight years.

GRACE - 1WAH01 - 2011 - Carrie receives a new piece of electronic evidence from an undercover agent while staying glued to the surveillance footage of life in Brody's home, which reveals a man struggling with his traumatic memories, and resisting pressure to become a media hero.

CLEAN SKIN - 1WAH02 - 2011 - Despite misgivings, the Brody family prepares to step into the spotlight with an exclusive television interview; at the CIA, Carrie and her team close in on an al-Qaeda plot to fund a terrorist attack on the US.
